JOIN US IN MAKING THIS VETERANS DAY SPECIAL
In order to make this event successful, we are actively working towards finding 32 veterans who love baseball, sports, or simply looking to be part of a special event. In addition, we are also actively looking for generous companies who wish to participate in this event by donating to our great cause by sponsoring a hero.
Each donation will allow one special vet to participate on your behalf in our upcoming Tee Off For Troops” Golf Tournament. Any additional funds will directly fund our new initiative called “PROJECT HOME RUN” where we will be providing a wounded vet with 100K worth of work towards a backyard home remodel to serve someone in need.
Our core values transform into action towards our local community:
- Provide military families with experiences of a lifetime (hockey games, baseball games, sporting events, and bowling)
- Host an annual adult baseball camp for veterans (PROJECT BASE HIT) promoting mental health to those who have been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Distributing college scholarships to first time generation college applicants from military family
- Creating a “Play it Forward “ golf program where Strikeout For a Cause provides free/discounted golf rates /provides resources needed to play sports
- Focused on employing military members and or adults with disabilities.
